This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Sprinklr data to Supermetrics.
You can connect to data sources from the Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub. On the Hub, you can also share an authentication link to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.
After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in all available destinations.
Required permissions
To connect to Sprinklr, you need to create your own OAuth Application within the Sprinklr developer environment to obtain the required credentials. You’ll also need your specific Environment Parameter.
You can find the instructions to extract Environment from Sprinklr’s UI here or reach out to your Sprinklr admin or customer success manager.
You also need access to a Sprinklr user account with the following permissions:
Generate Token
Generate Widget API Payload
See Sprinklr’s documentation for details on how to manage roles in Sprinklr.
How to create an OAuth application and obtain your Environment Parameter
Please follow the steps in Sprinklr’s documentation.
In the Register Application form, please enter the following Callback URL: https://supermetrics.com/login-complete
Once the application has been created, save your API Key (Client_ID) and API secret (client_secret) in a secure location.
Take note of your Environment Parameter, as it is required to authenticate the connector.
Note
Only one token can exist per API key. If you have multiple stateless instances, you’ll need to generate a separate API key and tokne paid for each instance. This means that if you plan to use the connector in multiple destinations, you must create a separate API key for each one. Alternatively, you can use a shared connection if you prefer a single setup across destinations.
Query types
If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.
