Understanding the data

  • Cost: The total amount spent on ads within the reporting period.

  • Impressions: The total number of times your ad was displayed, including both organic and paid sources.

  • Paid impressions: The number of paid impressions for the ad.

  • Swipes: The swipe-up count for the ad, indicating how many times users swiped up to engage with the ad's call to action.

  • Ad squad name: Splits results by ad squad for side-by-side performance comparison.

Troubleshooting

The Snapchat Marketing data source has the following limitations:

  • Hourly breakdown is supported only for main advertising metrics, not for conversion data.

  • Breakdown by demographic insights and by time is only available from January 1, 2020 onwards.

  • If you need demographic data for a time period before January 1, 2020, lifetime versions of demographic dimensions are available — these ignore the date selection and return the lifetime value for the selected metric.

  • Reach (unique impressions) and frequency metrics are supported only on daily granularity and by campaign. Weekly and monthly granularity is not supported.
