Metrics data is stored for up to 2 years.
Stories disappear after 24 hours.
The media endpoint gets a maximum of 10,000 of the most recently created objects.
Accounts in Instagram Insights
In the Instagram Insights connector, each Profile is considered a separate account within the connection.
Your Supermetrics subscription determines the number of data source accounts you can use simultaneously.
Things to consider
Time zone
Meta’s API for Instagram Insights appears to use UTC-7:00 as the time zone to determine days. This may contribute to discrepancies and other issues based on time.
Collaboration posts
Instagram media collaboration post data can only be read by the Instagram media creator; collaborators can’t get data on media they collaborated on.
