This article outlines recommendations and notes certain limitations imposed by the data source API, which you may need to consider when building your queries.

If you are connecting to this data source, please follow the instructions in our connection guide, and the available fields for this connector are listed in the Fields page.

Request limits and recommended refresh rate

Request limit: 120 requests per minute per subscription (enforced as 12 requests every 6 seconds)

Recommended refresh window: 2-3 days

Historical range

There are no known limitations to the historical range of data you can pull with the Adobe Analytics 2.0 data source connector. But Adobe's best practice is to pull historical data by incrementing it regularly instead of requesting the entire data set at once.

Accounts in Adobe Analytics 2.0

In the Adobe Analytics connector, each Report Suite is considered a separate account within the connection.

Your Supermetrics subscription determines the number of data source accounts you can use simultaneously.

Things to consider

Request size

Large requests that include a large number of dimensions or profiles selected may run slower. Consider breaking down requests to smaller segments and limit the number of profiles and segments, along with using smaller date ranges.
