Pinterest Organic report building guide

Prev Next

Use the Pinterest Organic data source connector to pull your Pinterest data, including profile metrics, engagement metrics, and Pin details. You can also look at this data together with your Pinterest Ads data to see the long-term effects of your campaigns.

Before you begin

Before you build reports, you need to connect the data source to Supermetrics.

Query types

With this data source, you need to select a query type to get the right type of data:

  • Profile: Get aggregated organic metrics for all pins and lifetime metrics for the profile. Includes analytics from your owned pins (created and saved by you), as well as pins created and saved by others from your claimed accounts, such as websites.

  • Top pins: Get organic metrics for your top 50 pins. Includes analytics from your owned pins as well as pins from others on your claimed accounts.

  • Owned pins: Get organic metrics with daily breakdowns for pins you have created and saved. Note that this query type is not available in Looker Studio.

Popular queries

These query configurations help you track key performance indicators and analyze trends. You can use these settings in any Supermetrics destination, such as Data Explorer, Dashboards, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, or data warehouse destinations.
