In the X Organic (Twitter) connector, each Ad account is considered a separate account within the connection.

Your Supermetrics subscription determines the number of data source accounts you can use simultaneously.

Things to consider

Retweets

The field “Retweeted“ indicates if the tweet was retweeted by the user account. FALSE means the tweet is original, created by the user account. TRUE means that the tweet is a retweet of another accounts tweet.

Note that this doesn’t include quote tweets. Retweets and quote tweets are similar, but quote tweet includes a comment from the retweeter. If user account “quote tweeted” the tweet, the Retweeted-field will report FALSE.

Retweets discrepancy

The Retweets field only returns the total count of retweets for a tweet; it does not include the count of quotes. This is the expected behavior.

However, if you compare the value Supermetrics returns to the Repost value shown under the tweet in the browser while logged in, you may see a higher number in the browser. This is because the icon shows the total retweets and quotes summed together. Clicking the number and selecting “View Quotes” allows you to see who retweeted and who quoted the tweet to get the actual numbers for each.

If you open the same tweet in an incognito browser or while logged out, it will show the retweets separately.

Indexed tweets

Only indexed organic tweets can be reported by our connector, and further, only tweets from approved accounts will be indexed. An account may not be approved, or may even be rejected, if it does not meet the requirements. See also step 1 in our X Ads account creation guide.

You should be able to find all indexed tweets from Ads UI → Creatives → Tweets → Filter Organic.

See X's documentation about eligibility for X Ads for more information.

Quote tweets

The API does not return Quote tweets. If tweets are missing, check the tweet type.

The link clicks metric is returning "null" results, even though there are link clicks shown for the Tweet on the Analytics side. This is investigated to be an API bug.

Likes metric discrepancy

The Supermetrics connector for X Organic returns the total likes, which means that when a user first likes and then unlikes a tweet, it still counts as a like. In short, our connector provides all the likes that have been given to a tweet, without noting possible unlikes.
