Historical range

With the TikTok Organic data source connector, the data is available for the last 60 days.

Accounts in TikTok Organic

The TikTok Organic data source connector supports fetching data from an unlimited number of accounts.

Things to consider

Video data

Video level data does not support date range selection nor daily breakdown, but always returns a full list of all the videos on your profile, and all the view and engagement data they’ve accumulated over time.

Not all the videos available in the UI can be fetched with the connector. TikTok’s API documentation outlines various scenarios where it is not possible to retrieve the data:

  • If the corresponding metric data are missing from TikTok Analytics, you will not be able to get the data.

  • If a video is not returned in the response, the reason is likely to be that the video has been filtered out due to violations, such as music copyright violation.

Organic and paid data

The connector currently returns data that matches the native reporting in TikTok Analytics.

However, this means that the metrics returned are a combination of organic and paid data, if an organic post has been promoted with Spark Ads. To get only the organic data, see our guide on How to get pure organic data from TikTok Organic.

Time zone issues

Error: Invalid value for end date: end date should be earlier than today's date.

This happens if the date range is today and the product time zone causes the date not to match with UTC

For example, in Google Sheets, the sheet time zone is earlier than UTC and the date selected is tomorrows date’s after considering the time difference.

The workaround is to change the scheduled refresh time in Google Sheets to ensure it’s triggered on the same date as the current UTC date. Alternatively, you can offset the localization time zone to reach the same goal.
