Query types
With this data source, you need to select a query type to get the right type of data:
Videos performance: Fetches engagement data per video for up to 1,000 of the most recently published videos on the selected channel. Splittable by date.
Single video performance: Fetches engagement data for a specific video, defined by video ID. Splittable by date.
Channel overview: Performance data for the channel, such as subscribers, likes, and average view duration.
Geographies: Breakdown of viewer engagement by country and state.
Demographic: Breakdown of viewer percentage by age and gender.
Device: Breakdown of viewer engagement by device type and operating system.
Traffic sources: Breakdown of viewer engagement by traffic source.
Ad performance: Gross revenue and ad impressions for your channel, broken down by ad type.

To pull monetization data using the Ad performance query type, your YouTube channel must have monetization enabled.

Understanding the data
Video views: The number of times the video was viewed within the reporting period.

Understanding the data
Viewer percentage: The percentage of viewers in each demographic segment who were logged in when watching the video or playlist.
Age group: The age bracket of the viewer, used to segment results by age.
Gender: The gender of the viewer, used to segment results by gender.
View channel lifetime totals
See the current lifetime totals for your channel — total subscribers, total public videos, and total page views — fetched at the time the query is refreshed, useful for adding channel context to your reporting dashboard.

Understanding the data
Channel total subscribers: The all-time number of subscribers for the channel. This value is rounded down to three significant figures.
Channel total video count: The number of public videos uploaded to the channel all time. Reflects public videos only.
Channel total page views: The total number of times the channel page has been viewed all time.
Channel name: The name of the YouTube channel, used to compare totals across multiple channels.
Track audience engagement over the last 28 days
See how your channel's views, likes, and subscriber changes have trended day by day over the last 28 days — useful for understanding what's driving audience growth and identifying periods of higher or lower engagement.
