Supermetrics Marketing Analyst enables users to connect marketing data sources and query performance data directly within Microsoft Teams using natural language via Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can use the Copilot agent in Copilot or in Microsoft Teams.
With Supermetrics Marketing Analyst, you can:

This guide helps Microsoft Teams administrators and business stakeholders deploy configure and successfully use the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst Copilot agent within your organization.
Prerequisites
Before deployment, ensure you have the following:
A Microsoft 365 tenant with Microsoft Teams enabled.
A Microsoft 365 Copilot license (if required for your environment).
An active Supermetrics account and subscription (trial or paid) - One will be created on login if none exists.
End-users of the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst for Microsoft Teams must have:
An active Supermetrics account and subscription (trial or paid).
Required marketing platform credentials (for example, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) and the required access permissions defined in our data source connection instructions.

Deployment instructions for Teams administrators
Option 1: Deploy from Microsoft Teams admin center
To enable the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst for a select group of users:
Log in to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
Go to Teams apps and select Manage Apps.
Search for Supermetrics Marketing Analyst.
Click Add or approve the app.
Assign the app to specific users, groups, or your entire organization.
Option 2: Organizational rollout
To set up the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst organization-wide:
Log in to the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
Go to Teams apps and select Setup policies.
Edit the Global (organization-wide) policy or create a custom policy.
Add Supermetrics Marketing Analyst to the pinned apps list.
Assign the policy to the desired target user groups.
Using the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst Copilot
When you launch the Supermetrics Marketing Analyst agent for the first time:
Follow the onboarding instructions within the Copilot agent.
You’re prompted to connect your marketing data sources in Supermetrics. A free 14-day trial for Supermetrics is automatically created upon first data source connection, if no active subscription exists.

Once connected, your AI assistant can access data from any platform you've already connected to your Supermetrics account.
You can ask natural questions about your marketing data, for example:

To maximize adoption:
Conduct a short internal training session demonstrating natural language queries.
Share example prompts with marketing teams.
Pin the app in Teams setup policies.
Encourage team-level use for campaign reporting and KPI tracking.
Security and data handling
All runtime services are operated and controlled by Supermetrics.
The app only accesses data sources explicitly authorized by the user.
No marketing data is accessed without explicit user consent.
Confirmation prompts are required before executing data-retrieval functions from the data source.
