For instance, if you get different results for a different day when you set “Yesterday” or “Today” as a query’s date range, you can edit the query’s time zone manually. This guide shows you how. This can be especially helpful if you're seeing [Shopify data discrepancies when working with data across different time zones](/v1/docs/about-timezone-setting-discrepancies-in-shopify-data). ## Instructions ****AI chats and Supermetrics MCP**** To change the timezone, include the name of the timezone to use in your prompt, such as "Pull Shopify data using the America/Chicago timezone". Note that you’ll need to specify the timezone each time you start a new chat with the AI tool about Shopify data. ****Google Sheets**** 1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar. 2. Select the Shopify query you'd like to modify. 3. Scroll down and click the **Options** dropdown. 4. Under **Reporting timezone**, choose the timezone for the query. ****Data Studio**** 1. Click any report element from your query in Data Studio to open the Supermetrics pane. 2. Click the **Edit icon** next to Shopify to open the configuration page. 3. Click **Edit connection**. 4. Scroll down to **Reporting timezone**. 5. Select the timezone that matches your Shopify's store timezone. While you’re in this view, we recommend checking the box next to **Allow “Reporting timezone” to be modified in reports**. With this enabled, you can adjust the timezone only for selected data objects on your dashboard that are using the dynamic date range of “Today” or “Yesterday”. ****Excel**** 1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar. 2. Select a Shopify query and click **Modify**. 3. Go to **Options**. 4. Under **Reporting timezone**, choose the timezone for the query. ****Power BI**** 1. On the [Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/), go to **Power BI** under **Analyze**. 2. Select the Shopify query to modify. 3. Select the connection to use. 4. Go to **Options**. 5. Under **Reporting timezone**, choose the timezone for the query. ****The Supermetrics API**** 1. On the [Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/), go to **API queries** under **Manage**. 2. Select the Shopify data source and the query to modify. 3. In the sidebar, go to **Options**. 4. Under **Reporting timezone**, choose the timezone for the query. 5. Click **Run** to run the query. ****Data warehouse**** [When setting up your data transfer](/v1/docs/how-to-create-a-transfer), navigate to **General settings** and select the timezone settings to use.
