# TikTok Shop connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your TikTok Shop data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](https://docs.supermetrics.com/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/docs/tiktok-shop-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To authorize Supermetrics, you must be logged in with your TikTok Shop main account, as sub-accounts don't have permission to authorize services.

Follow the guided TikTok Shop’s authorization flow, and choose which shop(s) you want to authorize. Depending on your TikTok Shop setup, it is possible to authorize either one at a time or multiple from the same region at once.

## Supported regions

The connector supports TikTok Shops based in the United States, Brazil, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.

Japan is ’t supported yet, but it can be added in the future.

## Query types

If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.

- **Orders**: Fetch detailed insights about your shop orders.

## Connection instructions

When connecting to TikTok Shop, you need to be logged in to TikTok Shop with your main account and select the region when prompted.

1. Select the TikTok Shop data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. Give a name for your login.
3. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](https://docs.supermetrics.com/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
4. Click **Start**.
5. Select the desired region and click **Next**.
6. If prompted, select the target shop(s).
  - Set duration for access based on your company's policies.
  - Input your contact email address.
7. Click **Confirm to install**.
8. Read through the authorizing conditions, then **mark the checkbox** "I acknowledge that..."
9. Click **Authorize** and then **Done** or wait until you are automatically re-directed after 5 seconds.
10. In your data destination, select the authorized shop(s) you would like to run queries for, and select the desired data range, metrics, and dimensions.
