# Supermetrics Storage

Supermetrics Storage solution helps you store your data in one centralized place. You'll get the benefits of using a data warehouse without owning one yourself.

With Supermetrics Storage, you can:

- Store your data in a centrally managed location to ensure that reports load instantly whenever needed.
- Avoid being affected by unexpected outages from marketing platforms and reporting APIs. Centrally stored data is always available.
- Start building a historical database of your marketing performance. This will enable future activities such as marketing mix modeling and predictive analytics.

## Get started with Supermetrics Storage

### Before you begin

Supermetrics Storage is part of the Supermetrics Enterprise package. [Visit our website to learn more about the Marketing Intelligence Platform and Enterprise package](https://supermetrics.com).

> Supermetrics Storage Basic add-on available in Pro package
> 
> You can add the Supermetrics Storage Basic as an add-on to your Pro package. The Basic plan includes 20 GiB of storage and 5 TiB of processing per month.

### Instructions

Follow these steps to get started with Supermetrics Storage:

1. First, connect to the necessary data sources from the Supermetrics Hub. See [our data source guides for instructions.](/v1/docs/connect)
2. Then, define what data to pull to Supermetrics Storage:
  - To pull all the data you need, [create a data blend for the necessary data sources and accounts](/v1/docs/how-to-create-and-manage-data-blends).
  - [Create custom table groups](/v1/docs/how-to-create-a-custom-table-group-formerly-custom-schema) to select what fields to store in your Supermetrics Storage.
  - If you want, you can [add new fields](/v1/docs/how-to-modify-fields-in-data-warehouse-transfers) to a data warehouse transfer.
3. Next, [create transfers](/v1/docs/how-to-create-a-transfer) to take the data to your Supermetrics Storage.
4. To store historical data in your Supermetrics Storage, [run a backfill](/v1/docs/how-to-backfill-data).
5. Finally, connect your Supermetrics Storage to your data dashboard:
  - [Connect Supermetrics Storage to Looker Data](/v1/docs/how-to-connect-supermetrics-storage-to-data-studio)
  - [Connect Supermetrics Storage to Power BI](/v1/docs/how-to-load-data-from-supermetrics-storage-to-power-bi)

Once your Supermetrics Storage is up and running, [keep the data updated with backfills](/v1/docs/how-to-backfill-data).

You can [add your teammates as recipients of transfer alerts](/v1/docs/how-to-get-supermetrics-alerts-to-your-email-slack-or-microsoft-teams-channel) in case something's not working as expected. By default, the alerts are sent to you.
