# StackAdapt report building guide

With the StackAdapt data source connector, you can report your basic ad metrics and identify which campaigns are working best. Compare results between video ads and other media types to see what format drives the strongest performance for your campaigns.

## Before you begin

Before you build reports, you need to connect the data source to Supermetrics.

- **Connection instructions:** See our [StackAdapt connection guide](/v1/docs/stackadapt-connection-guide).
- **Available metrics and dimensions:** Find the full list of fields in our [StackAdapt field documentation](/v1/docs/stackadapt-fields).

## Popular queries

These query configurations help you track key performance indicators and analyze trends. You can use these settings in any Supermetrics destination, such as Data Explorer, Dashboards, Google Sheets, Data Studio, or data warehouse destinations.
