# Shopee Ads connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Shopee Ads data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/v1/docs/shopee-ads-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To pull commerce data from Shopee using Supermetrics, you need a Shopee account.

In addition:

- You must connect to Shopee using a normal Shop account that has access to a single shop per login. Main accounts and sub-accounts are not compatible with the connector.
- You need the **email/phone number/user name** and **password** of the Shop account.

Learn more about [different types of Shopee accounts](https://seller.shopee.com.my/edu/article/26762/multiple-shop-chat-management-on-sub-account-platform).

## Query types

If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.

- **CPC Ads**: Retrieve performance data for CPC ads.
