# Quantcast connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Quantcast data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](https://docs.supermetrics.com/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/docs/quantcast-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To connect Supermetrics to Quantcast, you need:

- A copy of your account ID
- An API key
- An API secret

****Get your account ID****

1. [Log in to Quantcast](https://www.quantcast.com/user/login?qcRefer=https%3A//www.quantcast.com/search%3Fq%3Dasraco.com).
2. Click **Account list** in the top right.
3. Click **View all**.
4. Copy the account ID for the account you want to connect.

****Get your API key and API secret****

1. [Log in to Quantcast](https://www.quantcast.com/user/login?qcRefer=https%3A//www.quantcast.com/search%3Fq%3Dasraco.com).
2. In the top right, click the **Profile icon**, and then **My profile**.
3. Navigate to the "API key" section, and click **Create API Key**.
4. Quantcast will show your API key and API secret once. Copy these — remember to keep them safe and secure.

## Query types

If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data.

- **Campaigns**: Measure the performance of your advertising campaigns.

## Connection instructions

When connecting to Quantcast, you need to provide your credentials.

1. Select the Quantcast data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. Enter the Account ID for the account you want to connect.
3. Enter that account's API key and API secret.
4. Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
5. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](https://docs.supermetrics.com/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
6. Click **Start**.
7. In your data destination, select the query type, if prompted.
