# Pinterest Ads connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Pinterest Ads data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/v1/docs/pinterest-ads-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To connect to Pinterest Ads, you need a Pinterest user account with at least **Admin** or **Campaign** [access to an ad account](https://help.pinterest.com/en/business/article/share-and-manage-access-to-your-ad-accounts).

## Connection instructions

When connecting to Pinterest Ads, you need to provide your Pinterest credentials and select the accounts to pull data from.

1. Select the Pinterest Ads data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. Enter your email address and password, and click **Log in**.
3. Click **Give access**.
4. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](/v1/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
5. Click **Start**.
6. In your data destination, select the accounts to use in your reporting.
