# Ignite connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Ignite data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/v1/docs/ignite-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To connect Supermetrics to your Ignite account, you need a client ID and client secret from your contact person at [RealEstate.com.au](https://www.realestate.com.au/).

## Query types

Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data:

- **Campaigns**: Measure the performance of your property campaigns.
- **Campaign creatives**: Retrieve a collection of flight data for a specified campaign ID, including a daily breakdown of performance metrics.
- **Campaign flights**: Retrieve a collection of creative data for a specified campaign ID, including a daily breakdown of performance metrics.
- **Aggregated project profile performance report**: Retrieve total project performance reports for property advertising campaigns.
- **Daily project profile performance report**: Retrieve daily project performance reports for property advertising campaigns.

## Connection instructions

When connecting to Ignite, you need your client ID and client secret.

1. Select the Ignite data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. Enter your client ID and client secret.
3. Give your login a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
4. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](/v1/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
5. Click **Start**.
6. In your data destination, select a query type to use, if prompted.
