# How to switch Supermetrics teams

You might need to switch between teams when you're working on your reports with Supermetrics. Take a look at these instructions to learn how.

A data source connection is tied to the person who created it and also to the Supermetrics team it was first added into. This means that you may need to create a new connection to the data source after switching teams.

## Instructions

****Supermetrics Hub****

1. On the Supermetrics Hub, click your team name on the top bar.
2. Select a team to switch to.

****Google Sheets****

1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar in Google Sheets.
2. Go to the **Your account** tab.
3. Click **Change team**. ![Supermetrics account settings showing options to change team and manage account.](https://cdn.document360.io/a13cead5-eaae-456f-9bd1-0941d590c0e3/Images/Documentation/google-sheets-change-team.png)
4. Select a team to switch to.
5. Create new connections for the data sources you are using with the new team.

****Data Studio****

On Data Studio, you have to switch teams for each data source your report is using.

1. Click the edit icon next to the data source's name.
2. Click Edit connection.
3. Click the link that follows **To add more/manage user accounts**.
4. Select a team.
5. Add a new connection, or click **Done**.

****Excel****

1. Open the Supermetrics sidebar in Excel.
2. In the hamburger menu on the top-left corner of the sidebar, click **Change team**.
3. Select a team to switch to.

****Power BI****

1. On the Supermetrics Hub, click your team name on the top bar.
2. Select a team to switch to.
3. Go to Power BI Desktop and navigate to **File → Options and settings → Data source settings**.
4. Find and select **Connect to Supermetrics**.
