# How to swap data sources

If your Supermetrics subscription is paid using a credit card, you can swap the data sources included in your subscription. Supermetrics allows one data source swap every 30 days.

To enable swapping data sources, you'll need to [upgrade your subscription to our latest package](/v1/docs/how-to-add-more-features-and-upgrade-a-supermetrics-subscription). The upgrade ensures compatibility and access to all of our latest features, including swapping data sources.

> Note
> 
> Note that when you swap a data source to another one, you'll lose access to the data source you're swapping from and your queries will stop working.
> 
> For example, if you've been using TikTok Ads, but want to swap that data source to Instagram Insights, your TikTok Ads queries will stop working when you swap.

## Instructions

1. Go to the [Subscriptions page](https://hub.supermetrics.com/subscriptions) on the Supermetrics Hub. Check from the top bar that you're in the right team.
2. Select a subscription you want to modify.
3. Scroll down to **Data sources and accounts**.
4. Click **Swap data sources**.
5. Select the data source that you want to swap.
6. Select your new data source and click **Next**.
7. Read the terms and check the checkbox to confirm that you agree to the terms, and click **Confirm swap**.
