# How to fix “Your subscription has expired” errors in Data Studio

If something’s gone wrong with your team or subscription's registration, you might encounter one of these error messages:

- `Your trial has expired. Purchase a subscription at https://hub.supermetrics.com/subscription/purchase`
- `Your subscription has expired. Renew your subscription at https://hub.supermetrics.com/subscriptions`

Follow these steps if you see these errors in Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio).

## Instructions

1. [Verify your subscription is active](/v1/docs/how-to-verify-you-have-a-valid-paid-subscription) and has been assigned to you.
2. Make sure that you use the user account assigned to the subscription when you reauthenticate the data source. Make sure that you're in the correct team with a valid subscription.
3. Remove all unused data source connections — [follow these instructions](/v1/docs/how-to-remove-data-source-accounts-and-data-source-connections-in-data-studio).
4. [Reauthenticate to the correct data source account](/v1/docs/how-to-reauthenticate-a-data-source-connection-in-google-sheets-looker-studio-excel-power-bi-and-supermetrics-hub).

If you belong to multiple teams and the issue persists, we highly recommend that you [merge teams](/v1/docs/how-to-merge-teams).

[Contact our support team for help](https://hub.supermetrics.com/support) if this error persists, or if you have any questions about it.
