# Google Play Console connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Google Play Console data to Supermetrics.

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/v1/docs/google-play-console-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

Before using the Google Play Console connector, you need access to Google Play Console developer account with access level **User**. Learn how to [add developer account users and manage permissions](https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9844686?sjid=3862787699102540280-EU).

You also need your Cloud Storage URI. To find your Cloud Storage URI:

1. Log in to [Google Play Console](https://play.google.com/console).
2. Go to **Download reports**.
3. Select any report.
4. Select **Copy Cloud Storage URI**.

## Query types

Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data:

- **Statistics**: Fetch data for Installs, Crashes and Ratings metrics
- **Reviews**: Fetch reviews data for your app

## Connection instructions

When connecting to Google Play Console, you need to provide your Cloud Storage URI and select an account to use when prompted.

1. Select the Google Play Console data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](/v1/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
3. Enter your Cloud Storage URI.
4. Click **Start**.
