If you’re connecting to Snapchat Marketing, follow the instructions in our [connection guide](/v1/docs/snapchat-marketing-connection-guide). See [Snapchat Marketing metrics and dimensions](/v1/docs/snapchat-marketing-fields) for the fields available in this data source. ## Request limits and recommended refresh window **Request limit**: See [Snapchat Marketing’s documentation](https://marketingapi.snapchat.com/docs/#rate-limits). **Recommended refresh window**: 4 days. Note that there’s an API delay of 2 days. ## Historical range There are no known limitations to the historical range of data you can pull with the Snapchat Marketing data source connector. ## Accounts in Snapchat Marketing In the Snapchat Marketing connector, each Ad account is considered a separate account within the connection. Your Supermetrics subscription determines how many [data source accounts](https://docs.supermetrics.com/docs/about-data-source-accounts) you can use simultaneously. ## Things to consider ### Day, hour, and total granularities We currently only use the DAY and HOUR granularities offered by the Snapchat Marketing API. We don’t use TOTAL, as we may calculate some of the metrics on our side, and using TOTAL leads to issues and discrepancies in those cases. Some additional details and conditions apply to unique count fields like the uniques, frequency, attachment_frequency and attachment_uniques metrics. See [Snapchat Marketing API documentation for more details](https://marketingapi.snapchat.com/docs/#additional-metrics). ### Total lifetime metrics Total lifetime metrics can’t be used with account-level details: - Total reach (lifetime) - Unique impressions (lifetime) - Frequency (lifetime) These fields must be requested with at least one of the following dimensions to work and carry a correct value: - Campaign name - Campaign ID - Ad squad name - Ad squad ID - Ad name - Ad ID Failure to include one of those dimensions will result in an error like: `Lifetime reach metrics require at least one entity dimension (Campaign ID/name, Ad squad ID/name, or Ad ID/name)` For more details about unique metrics, see [About aggregatable and non-aggregatable metrics](/v1/docs/about-aggregatable-and-non-aggregatable-metrics). ## More resources - [Snapchat Marketing connection guide](/v1/docs/snapchat-marketing-connection-guide) - [Snapchat Marketing report building guide](/v1/docs/snapchat-marketing-report-building-guide) - [How to set a custom attribution window in Snapchat Marketing queries](/v1/docs/how-to-set-a-custom-attribution-window-in-snapchat-marketing-queries) - [How to fix discrepancies in Snapchat Marketing data in Supermetrics](/v1/docs/how-to-fix-discrepancies-in-snapchat-marketing-data-in-supermetrics) - [Snapchat Marketing metrics and dimensions](/v1/docs/snapchat-marketing-fields)
