# Good to know about Impact

This article outlines recommendations and notes certain limitations imposed by the data source API, which you may need to consider when building your queries.

## Request limits and recommended refresh rate

**Request limit**: By default, 1000 requests per hour. See [Impact’s documentation](https://integrations.impact.com/impact-brand/reference/rate-limits).

**Recommended refresh window**: 2-3 days.

## Historical range

With the Impact data source connector, the data is available for 366 days at a time.

## Accounts in Impact

The Impact data source connector supports fetching data from an unlimited number of accounts.

## Things to consider

### Publisher API not supported

The Impact data source connector only supports brands and advertisers through Impact’s Brand API. Reporting through the Publisher API is not supported.
