# Gong connection guide

This guide contains all permissions and requirements for connecting your Gong data to Supermetrics.

<meta charset="utf-8">

You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](https://docs.supermetrics.com/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/docs/gong-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Before you begin

Before using the Gong connector, you’ll need an **Access Key**, an **Access Key Secret**, and your **base URL**.

### How to find your base URL and create an API Access Key

1. Log in to your Gong account with a user who has at least **Technical Administrator** permissions.
2. Navigate to the Gong [API page](https://app.gong.io/company/api-authentication) in the Admin center.
3. The **Base URL** for all API calls will be visible in the top section of the page. Copy this URL for later use.
4. Click **Create** to generate new API credentials.
5. The **Access Key** and **Access Key Secret** will only be shown once. Copy these to a secure location for later use.
