You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](https://docs.supermetrics.com/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to. After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/docs/brevo-connection-guide#connection-instructions). ## Required permissions To connect Brevo to Supermetrics, you need an API key. Remember to keep this safe once you have it. ### Create an API key 1. [Log in to Brevo](https://account-app.brevo.com/account/login). 2. Click your account's name in the top right corner. 3. Select **SMTP & API**. 4. Go to the **API keys** tab. 5. Click **Create a new API key**. 6. Enter a name for your API key (for example, “Supermetrics”). 7. Click **Generate**. 8. Copy the API key from the list under "Your API keys". [Learn more about API keys in Brevo's documentation](https://developers.brevo.com/docs/getting-started). ## Query types If prompted, you need to select a query type to pull data. - **Email campaigns**: Pulls the most popular performance metrics for email campaigns ## Connection instructions When connecting to Brevo, you need to provide your API key. 1. Select the Brevo data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination. 2. Enter your API key. 3. Give your login a name to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins. 4. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](https://docs.supermetrics.com/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections). 5. Click **Start**. Supermetrics, however, uses dynamic IP addresses that change regularly, leading to connection errors when Brevo blocks unrecognized IPs. You can select a suitable setting for handling unknown IP addresses in Brevo's settings: - **Automatic IP review and authorization**: Brevo automatically authorizes IP addresses used within the first 30 days of API key creation. After this period, new IPs will require manual review. If enabled before the 30-day period ends, existing IPs may be blocked unless manually added to the authorized list. - **Manual IP authorization**: Manually review and approve each unknown IP before allowing API calls. - **No IP review**: Allow all unknown IP addresses to make API calls without any review.
