You can connect to data sources from the [Data sources page on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management). On the Hub, you can also [share an authentication link](https://docs.supermetrics.com/v1/docs/how-to-connect-to-data-sources-from-supermetrics-hub#share-authentication-link) to connect to a data source you don't have direct access to.

After you connect to the data source on the Hub, you can use the data source connection in [all available destinations](/docs/amazon-dsp-connection-guide#connection-instructions).

## Required permissions

To connect, you need an Amazon user account with access to an Amazon DSP advertiser account.

Required permissions:

- **Advertiser account**:
  - **Admin** or **ADSP reports** account permission.
- **User account**:
  - **View** or **Edit** permissions for the advertiser account.

For more details on the access requirements, see [Amazon Ads Advanced Tools Center](https://advertising.amazon.com/API/docs/en-us/guides/reporting/dsp/creating-reports).

Note that the Amazon DSP data source can fetch a maximum of 50 linked accounts per manager account due to a limitation in the Amazon API. To work around this limitation and access more accounts, you can distribute them across multiple manager accounts and link them hierarchically to maintain full visibility. Note that the viability of this option depends on our account structure. [Learn more in Amazon’s documentation](https://advertising.amazon.com/help/G23QYEJNEX3FJFH5).

## Query types

Query types define what sort of metrics and dimensions are available. You need to select one of the following query types when pulling data:

- **Campaign**: Get detailed performance metrics by order, line-item, and creative.
- **Inventory**: Get detailed performance metrics by supply and site

## Connection instructions

When connecting to Amazon DSP, you need to log in to Amazon and select the query type and account when prompted.

1. Select the Amazon DSP data source [on the Supermetrics Hub](https://hub.supermetrics.com/token-management) or in the data destination.
2. Select your account's region.
3. Give your account a name. The name can be anything — its purpose is for you to recognize the login later in case you have multiple logins.
4. If prompted, choose to make this connection [shared or private](https://docs.supermetrics.com/docs/about-shared-and-private-connections).
5. Click **Start**.
6. Log in to your Amazon account.
7. Click **Allow** to allow the Supermetrics app to access your profile data.
8. In your data destination, select the query type to use and an account to pull data from.
