The Data Activation connector for Adnuntius enables you to integrate your customer data with Adnuntius, a demand-side platform (DSP) for programmatic advertising. This integration allows you to share audience segments with the Adnuntius ecosystem and target users based on their profile data.

With this connector, you can:

  1. Upload audience segments directly to Adnuntius.

  2. Automatically add and remove users from segments as they enter or leave your audiences/journeys.

  3. Filter segments by site ID for better organization.

  4. Optionally limit segment access to specific teams within Adnuntius.

Before you begin

Before you can create an Adnuntius connector in the Data Activation platform, you need to obtain the following from your Adnuntius account by going to the platform:

Network ID

  1. Navigate to Admin → Network in Adnuntius.

  2. Locate the Network ID displayed on the page.

System access token

  1. Navigate to Admin → API keys in Adnuntius.

  2. Use an existing API key or create a new one for "User Segment Uploads".

Site ID

The Site ID is a free-form text field that is mandatory. You can enter any value here, which allows you to filter segments in Adnuntius.

Team ID (optional)

The Team ID allows you to configure the connector for a specific team, limiting which parties have access to these segments on the Adnuntius side. You can create multiple connectors with the same API and context information but different teams.

To find your Team ID:

  1. Navigate to Admin → Teams in Adnuntius

  2. Copy the string after …/team/… from the browser URL bar. For example: https://admin.adnuntius.com/admin/teams/yh90ddw7cw2pc8m

Instructions

Step 1: Configure destination

  1. On the Data Activation platform, select Connectors in the left-side navigation bar.

  2. Select Server to Server and click New Connector.

  3. Click + New Connector.

  4. Select Adnuntius.

  5. Fill in the following details:

    • Name: Display name of the partner Server to server integration, used throughout the Data Activation system (mandatory)

    • System Access Token: Access token provided by Adnuntius

    • Site ID: Specific client site ID provided by Adnuntius

    • Network ID: The ID related to your network

    • Team ID: The ID related to the team you want this audience to be available for (optional)

  6. Click Create.

When you save the connector, the system verifies the access token and checks whether the user has the proper permissions for the given information. If there's an issue, an error message displays. If everything is correct, the connector saves and you can use it in a selection.

Step 2: Add the destination connector to an audience or journey

Go to an Orchestration or an Audience from the left-side navigation bar in Data Activation. When you save an Audience or a Journey, a call is made in the background to the Adnuntius API for uploading the segment. After this step, Adnuntius can recognize the segments once users are added to them.
