# About Supermetrics Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

The Supermetrics [Terms of Service](https://supermetrics.com/terms-of-service) and [Privacy Policy](https://supermetrics.com/privacy-policy) are the two most important legal documents that apply to your relationship with Supermetrics. This article provides a detailed summary of each document, explaining when and how they apply.

## Terms of Service

The [Terms of Service](https://supermetrics.com/terms-of-service) apply to your use of Supermetrics' service, regardless of whether you purchase directly online, sign a separate Order Form with us or otherwise access the service. These terms set forth how you can use our service, as well as use cases that are not allowed.

## Privacy Policy

The Supermetrics Privacy Policy applies to all Supermetrics websites, products and services through which we collect personal data as a data controller.

The privacy policy applies:

- When you visit any Supermetrics website
- When you use any Supermetrics product or service that collects personal information from you as a data controller
- During your interactions with Supermetrics' marketing, sales, and customer service activities
- For customers, potential customers and stakeholders of the Supermetrics Group

Please note that Supermetrics may also process personal data on your behalf in the role of a data processor. Our Data Processing Agreement applies to such processing.

## Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

The Data Processing Agreement is an Annex to the [Terms of Service](https://supermetrics.com/terms-of-service). The DPA describes how Supermetrics processes personal data on your behalf in the role of a data processor, when your own customer personal data flows through our platform.

This applies, for example, to personal data that you elect (as a data controller) to pass through from a data source connector (Third Party Connector) to a data destination you have selected, or in case we store and process such personal data on your behalf in our systems.

## AI terms

The [Supermetrics AI Terms](https://supermetrics.com/ai-terms) are an addition to the main Terms, governing the use of both Supermetrics' own AI features and external Third-Party AI Features. This document covers the provisions for using the AI features, including customer data handling, the specific responsibilities of the customer, and the rules for interacting with third-party AI tools.
