# About Supermetrics fair usage policy

Many of our data sources have [limitations and quotas](/v1/docs/about-daily-request-quotas-and-limits) on how many API requests you can make in a certain period of time.

In addition to that, we've implemented a [fair usage policy](https://supermetrics.com/fair-usage-policy).

The purpose of the fair usage policy is to guarantee the same level of access to the data source connectors for all customers who use it. Most Supermetrics customers will never come close to the limits outlined in the fair usage policy.
