About Facebook Ads Results data in Supermetrics

Prev Next

To get the values you see in the Results column in Facebook Ads Manager, use conversion metrics in Supermetrics. The Results column shows conversions, so the matching conversion metric gives you the same data.

Examples

Website leads

In this example, we have "Leads" as a result for a campaign:

Campaign overview showing leads for New Excel Launch January 2019 with sorting options.

To get this value in our reports, one option is to use the Website leads metric. Here’s an example in Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio):

Table displaying campaign names and corresponding website leads, highlighting 'New Excel Launch Jan 2019'.

Actions / Action type

Alternatively, you can use an Actions / Action type query (Dimensions: "Action type"; Metrics: "Actions") to get the conversions:

Data table showing campaign actions with a focus on pixel lead conversions.

In both cases, the Leads value equals that of the Results shown in Facebook Ad Manager.

Troubleshooting

If you see discrepancies between results, make sure your attribution setting is the same in Facebook as it is in your query.

Additionally, if you find that your Results field doesn't match the value returned for that metric, double-check that you're using the correct version of that metric. Some have multiple values, like "Leads (form)" and "Website Leads".
